Solana bulls suddenly turn bullish, target $1,000 in next cycle

Discussions of Solana's bullish potential have resurfaced on social media following a post by a well-known crypto bull, known on X as Murad. The self-proclaimed "delusional bull" posted about the cryptocurrency, declaring that "delusional bulls will ultimately win."

Solana Optimists Set $1,000 Target

Following this post, Solana community members are returning with optimistic predictions, including targets that some sections consider exaggerated. Despite trading around $84 at the time of writing, according to TradingView, a $1,000 target is once again being discussed for Solana.

It's worth noting that the bullish $SOL forecast is supported by optimists who believe the scalability-focused cryptocurrency can replicate its past successes, citing its performance in the 2023-2024 crypto market cycle and the inherent qualities of blockchain solutions, such as the speed and volume of meme coins. Is $1,000 SOL really rational?

Judging by face value, Solana's recent price action is intriguing, with users suddenly making bullish predictions without any significant developments. The cryptocurrency has fallen 67% over the past six months, with the price plummeting from its September 2025 high of $253 to around $84 at the time of writing.

James Wynn, a prominent cryptocurrency trader, questioned the sudden sentiment among Solana users prompted by Murad's comments. Wynn even questioned why people were following him on X, while the discussion focused on Solana's ability to hold up in the current market cycle and the cryptoasset's investment potential.

Solana's Impressive History

It's worth noting that Solana has a history of rapid price movements during bullish cycles. The cryptocurrency performed exceptionally well in the 2023-2024 bull cycle, gaining over 1,670% from September 2023 to January 2025. This bull run saw $SOL rise from approximately $18 to $295 in roughly 15 months.

Many Solana supporters, particularly the "Raving Bulls," believe the cryptocurrency can repeat this performance. Some are optimistic about a recovery in the upcoming bull cycle, suggesting the cryptocurrency has bottomed around $84.

Meanwhile, Solana has remained sideways for nearly three months after hitting a yearly low of $67 in early February. The cryptocurrency needs to break above $100 to convince the broader crypto community of a return to optimism. However, Murad and his supporters appear to have become early leaders of Solana's next bull run.
